Abstrak

Tahfidz Al-Qur’an is one of the forms of religious education in Indonesia that focuses on memorizing the Qur’an and applying its values in daily life. Tahfidz learning does not only emphasize memorization but also requires the use of appropriate methods to ensure that the learning objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive field research design. The key informant was the Head of the Tahfidz House, while the supporting informants were the Tahfidz teachers. Data were collected through observation and interviews, and then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Triangulation was applied to maintain data validity by comparing interview results from different informants. The findings indicate that the management of Tahfidz learning has been implemented as expected. The Head played a supervisory role, while the teachers carried out the learning process professionally, from the opening to the closing activities, by applying various methods and strategies to support student achievement. Strong collaboration between teachers and students also enabled learners to succeed in competitions at the provincial level. The management of Tahfidz learning consists of four main aspects: well-structured planning, organization involving the Head, teachers, and students, implementation using effective methods, and supervision through daily memorization checks, memorization report books, and student tests.
