INTEGRASI NILAI IHSAN DAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) SEBAGAI STRATEGI PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI ERA TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL

The digital transformation era has significantly changed educational systems, including Islamic education. Islamic educational institutions are required to improve the quality of educational services to remain relevant to technological advancements while maintaining Islamic values as their core identity. One of the approaches that can be utilized to address these challenges is the integration of the concept of ihsan with the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). This study aims to analyze the concept of ihsan from the perspective of Islamic education, examine the principles of TQM, and formulate an integrated model of both concepts as a strategy for improving the quality of Islamic education in the digital transformation era. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research by reviewing books, scientific journals, and other relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that the value of ihsan has strong compatibility with TQM principles, particularly in terms of continuous improvement, professionalism, responsibility, and quality-oriented culture. The integration of ihsan and TQM is capable of developing an educational quality management system that is not only focused on organizational effectiveness but also on character building and students’ spiritual development. Furthermore, this integration contributes to the establishment of a holistic, sustainable, and adaptive quality culture within Islamic educational institutions. Therefore, the Ihsan-TQM integration model can serve as an alternative framework for enhancing the quality of Islamic education in response to the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.
