PENGARUH MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DALAM MENJALANKAN SHALAT DI MTsS PONDOK PESANTREN HIDAYATUNNAS

This study aims to determine the influence of student management on student discipline in performing prayers at MTsS PP Hidayatunnas. Discipline in performing prayer is an indicator of the success of religious character education designed by the madrasah. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research method. The research population was all 58 students of MTsS PP Hidayatunnas using total sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that student management at MTsS PP Hidayatunnas is in the "Very High" category with a percentage of 89.66%. However, its implementation still has weaknesses in POAC functions (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). Based on hypothesis testing using Pearson Product Moment correlation, there is a significant influence between student management and student discipline in performing prayers with a correlation coefficient (r) value of 0.502 and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05). The magnitude of influence of 25.2% indicates that student management provides a moderate contribution to students' prayer discipline, while 74.8% is influenced by other factors such as family environment, teacher exemplary, and students' personal motivation.
