PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ULAR TANGGA TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SKI SISWA DI MIN KOTA BUKITTINGGI

This research is motivated by the problems faced, namely students' interest in learning Islamic Cultural History is still low, seen from their facial expressions during Islamic Cultural History learning, students are less focused on the explanation given by the teacher, students often chat with their deskmates about topics that are not related to the material taught by the teacher have not used innovative learning media in learning Islamic Cultural History. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of snakes and ladders media on interest in learning Islamic Cultural History and to find out how much influence the snakes and ladders learning media has on students' interest in learning Islamic Cultural History at MIN Bukittinggi city. This research is a quantitative study and uses the Pre-Experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study consists of 2 (two) variables, namely the independent variable (independent variable) snakes and ladders learning media and the dependent variable (dependent variable) learning interest. Data collection was carried out using a learning interest questionnaire filled out by students. The population of this study was 90 students and the sample of this study was 30 students with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the average pretest score for students in the experimental class was 67.25, with the highest score being 83 and the lowest being 47. Meanwhile, the average posttest score was 75.83, with the highest score being 84 and the lowest being 65. The t-test using the Independent Sample Test (SPSS Version 26) obtained a significance value of 0.002, meaning <0.005. Therefore, the Ha hypothesis is accepted; in other words, the Ho hypothesis is rejected. This means that with the implementation of the snakes and ladders learning media, students' interest in studying Islamic Cultural History has increased compared to before.
